Trained under Derek Lorrison while at Hull Uni from 89-92. Great fella, remember the parties at his old farmhouse and him smashing through thick logs for his fire with bare hands! Sad to hear he is no longer here. Good luck to all at the club.

Great site. Good to see how the club has developed over the years. I was at Hull Uni from 1979-1982, 3 happy years as a member of the Karate club.

I remember you.
A good time to start Karate was 1982, better now at any of the training times. You will be welcome at any of them.
Rich Pickard is still around.
I've been away for a bit but will be training again shortly.

Fellow karateka,
I just wanted to say hello to Tony Harris who live in South Cave in the 1980s, I used to train with him. After a long break from karate, I have returned to the 'way' and fondly remember the sessions.
